LatvianconductorMarissJansonsreturnstotheBerlinerPhilharmoniker’srostrumonceagain,whiletheorchestra’sprincipalclarinettistAndreasOttensameristhesoloclarinettistforthe2017Europakonzert.

AndreasOttensamerperformshisinterpretationofvonWeber‘sClarinetConcerto,whichisknownasamuchmoreelaboratecompositionthanMozart‘sclarinetconcertosowingtothecooperationbetweenthecomposerandclarinettistJosephHeinrichBärmann.

TheconcertconcludeswithDvo@ák‘s8thSymphony,anunusuallyoptimisticandlight-heartedcomposition.
